Father's Day was off to a good start with warm and sunny weather throughout South Florida.

Temperatures will warm to about 90 degrees and remain warm throughout the day.

There is a slight chance of stray showers, but stronger storms will remain in the interior portions of the state.

Rip current risk remains low on the water. UV index is in the extreme.

Expect similar conditions for the start of the work week, with warm temperatures and a low chance of rain.
