A South Florida attorney has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said Wednesday.
Mark Alan Greenberg, 62, is facing 10 counts of possession of child pornography, and one count each of promoting sexual performance of a child and compiling computer pornography, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office arrest report.
Greenberg, a mediation attorney from Weston, was arrested Tuesday and later released on $111,000 bond. It was unknown if he has a lawyer.
According to the arrest report, A BSO detective who is part of the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children task force began an investigation in February after an IP address was found to be advertising and sharing child pornography.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at the Weston home Greenberg shares with his wife, where the IP address was used, the report said.
During the search, 10 videos showing child pornography were found, the report said. Greenberg admitted to downloading child pornography videos and sharing them with others, the report said.
