Weston Boy, 11, Abducted by Father 2 Months Ago Found Safe: BSO

Authorities say they've found an 11-year-old Weston boy who they say was abducted by his father almost two months ago.

Clay Miller, 50, fled with Austin Miller in August, shortly after the boy's mother arrived in Broward County after she was awarded custody of her son in a California court, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said Wednesday.

On Thursday, officials said the boy and father were found on Miami Beach. Officials said media coverage of the case led to info from the public, which led them to Miller.

Miller was taken into custody without incident with help from the FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Miami Beach Police.

Miller was supposed to turn Austin over to the mother on Aug. 7, but fled and hadn't been seen since, authorities said.

Officials said Austin will be reunited with his mother.
