It certainly isn’t snow but you’ll be seeing plenty of white this Thanksgiving weekend in South Florida.
The annual White Party takes center stage as it celebrates its diamond jubilee. For 30 years, Care Resource has sponsored the fundraiser to raise money for its healthcare center that provides a variety of services to the LGBT community in South Florida.
Events take place in Miami and South Beach from November 26 to December 1. The premiere event, The White Party, is being held for the first time at the Perez Art Museum on Saturday night. The other flagship event is Muscle Beach happening on Sunday on the sands of South Beach. Other events include a happy hour at the Hotel Gaythering on Friday evening and a pool party at the National Hotel on Saturday afternoon.
The White Party is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors to South Florida from all around the world. For more information on the events and for tickets, click here.
The White Party is one of the largest and oldest HIV/AIDS fundraisers in Florida. It has drawn some impressive attendees over the years, including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Cyndi Lauper and Miami’s own Gloria Estefan.
