Oprah Winfrey, along with Tyler Perry, endorse "Precious," due out in theaters in November.
Ever wondered what it would be like to fold the underwear of Oprah or serve coffee to Julia Roberts?
Well, consider this your big break.
Fisher Island Club, land of the rich and insanely wealthy, is holding a three-day job fair in hopes of filling slots for the onslaught of snow birds expected to land on the exclusive island this winter season.
Positions available include waiters and waitresses, hosts and hostesses, bartenders, food runners, bussers, beach attendants, sushi chef, and a variety of other kitchen/cooking positions.
You'll get to work by ferry, or if you befriend one of the rich residents, by private helicopter or seaplane.
As an added bonus to getting paid, those chosen will have the chance to see stars like Oprah, Andre Agassi, Ricky Martin, and "Pretty Woman" Roberts in the flesh.
Serving the rich sounds like a good gig to us, even if the unemployment rate in the state wasn't a depressing 11 percent.
The bad economy will give you something to talk about with some of the Fisher Island residents, who no doubt have been feeling the pinch themselves. Fisher Island recently fell from its perch as the Forbes most expensive zip code in America to being ranked No. 33.
The job auditions are being held at the Gemma Lounge on Miami Beach from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Wednesday.
