The winner of an MTV reality show called "From G's to Gents" was jailed in Miami-Dade County on Wednesday on aggravated battery charges, jail records show.

Wednesday, an arrest report providing the circumstances of Martin's arrest wasn’t available.
It’s not the first time this year that Martin has had a run-in with police, records show.
In September, Gainesville police arrested him on fraud charges, reportedly accusing him of trying to scam two Walmarts in an alleged counterfeit money scheme.
But those criminal charges have since been dropped, with prosecutors citing insufficient evidence, Alachua County court records show.
Martin was featured on the first season of “From G's to Gents,” which aired in 2008.
"From G's to Gents," from executive producer Jamie Foxx, was a show aimed at showing "diamonds in the rough on how to lose the front, learn self-respect, realize their self-worth and market themselves accordingly," said MTV's website about the show.
"The wannabe gentlemen learn everything from style and grace to etiquette and chivalry. The G's discover that with the right tools, they can become true gents," the website said.
