Woman Arrested for Sex with 13-Year-Old Boy: Cops

Pembroke Pines Police say they arrested a Port St. Lucie woman for having sex with a 13-year-old boy on multiple occasions.

Carissa Marie Rangel, 23, was arrested Monday and faces seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts and is being held on $25,000 bond, according to Broward Sheriff's Office online records. She also violated probation for a prior battery case, according to authorities.

Police say the mother of the victim heard noises coming from her son's bedroom on Monday morning. She entered his room and Rangel told her that she was "getting it done right," according to authorities.

The boy told police that Rangel entered his bedroom and told him to lock the door. The boy also said they had unprotected sex, authorities said. They had sex twice before, police said.

They boy was treated at the Sexual Assault Treatment Center in Broward County but had no injuries.
