Woman Found Fatally Stabbed in Car Near Hialeah City Hall

Man also found stabbed at scene rushed to hospital

A woman was killed and a man was hospitalized after they were found stabbed near Hialeah City Hall Wednesday morning.

Hialeah police said the woman has been identified as 25-year-old Wendy Norelys Bandera Madariaga, from Venezuela, and the man has been named as 28-year-old Luis Siddartha Palacio Madariaga, the victim's husband who remains in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The discovery was made at a car parked along the street outside the building at 501 Palm Avenue.

Police said they're investigating it as a possible domestic-related murder-suicide.

Hialeah Fire Rescue officials said when rescue workers arrived they found the man and woman bleeding profusely from stab wounds.

The wife was pronounced dead at the scene. The husband was critically injured and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert.
