Woman Found With Fake Bills Trying to Pick Up Her Impounded Car: Cops

A woman _ previously arrested for passing fake dollar bills _ was rearrested when she went to pick up her impounded car and she was found with $360 worth counterfeit bills in her purse, authorities said.

Jennifer Estes Hutto was initially arrested on March 8, when she gave counterfeit bills at a Winter Haven Dairy Queen, Winter Haven Police said. The manager contacted police, and Hutto was found a couple of blocks away, authorities said.

Police found she was driving with a suspended driver’s license and an expired tag and impounded her car, but after  she was arrested her for the tag and license violations, they found $660 worth of counterfeit $20 bills, police said.

Days later when Hutto, who had a warrant for passing counterfeit bills in the unincorporated areas of Polk County, returned to the police station to pick up her car, officers found her with $360 worth of $5 and $20 fake dollar bills and arrested her again, the report said.

Hutto was charged with possession of counterfeit notes and bringing counterfeit bills to a government agency. It wasn’t immediately known if she had an attorney.
