A woman is dead after being fatally struck during a hit-and-run crash in Miami Beach early Sunday morning.
Miami Beach police say the the fatal crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near 38th Street and Collins Avenue. Police have arrested and charged 31-year-old Angel Cuesta with leaving the scene of crash.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue responded to the incident and transported the woman to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where she later died.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased woman. Cuesta was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
