A woman was arrested Wednesday after she called in a false bomb threat at work because she needed break, authorities said.

Latisha Vester, 43, faces charges of false report of bomb or explosion, records show. She remained in jail Friday on no bond, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that 300 employees from an electronics manufacturing company in Holly Hill were evacuated after a threatening voice mail was left at the office overnight.

Police said the message came in at 4:30 a.m. about a bomb being placed on the property. The evacuated employees were bused to city hall as bomb-sniffing dogs checked out the property, the newspaper said.

Authorities traced the number to Vester’s phone; she later confessed to leaving the threat, the Sentinel said.

It wasn't immediately known if Vester had an attorney.
