Delray Beach Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman they say used a stolen credit card to purchase a $3,500 entertainment system.

The unidentified woman used the credit card and ID at Bose Store at the PGA Mall Aug. 28. Police said the belongings were stolen from a clerk at Woodland Mills Fabric and Blinds four days earlier after two women came to inquire about window treatments.

The clerk noticed that her belongings were missing after receiving a call from American Express to verify two charges on her account. She told the company the purchases were unauthorized.

Delray Beach Police said the woman who used the stolen credit card was dropped off at the front of the PGA Mall. A Bose Store employee who helped her load the entertainment system said the vehicle was a silver or tan four-door Saturn.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Ferreri at 561-243-7868.
