A woman was struck and killed while she was crossing a street in Opa-locka Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 6:20 a.m. as the woman was crossing the street near Northwest 147th Street and Northwest 27th Avenue.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed at the scene.

No other information was immediately known.
