Tornado Rips Through Broward County

An unusually strong Florida tornado ripped through Broward County Tuesday night, leaving behind damaged homes and devastated families in Sunrise and Plantation.

Another cool start  Friday morning with temperatures starting out in the low 60s.

Sunshine will lead to a quick bounce with highs reaching the upper 70s in the afternoon.

Overnight temperatures will still be a bit below average with the numbers dropping into the low 60s at night.

High pressure slides east this weekend, bringing warmer temperatures to the region this Easter Sunday, with highs in the low 80s.

Warmer conditions are expected next week with highs in the mid 80s, maybe even 90 degrees depending on cloud cover.
