Priciest Puppy: Tibetan Mastiff Fetches Almost $2M

A nearly 200-pound, golden-haired Tibetan mastiff was sold for a reported $1.95 million in China, potentially making it the world’s priciest pooch, CNBC reported. The pup fetched 12 million yuan at a premium pet fair in the eastern province of Zhejiang Tuesday, according to AFP, which cited a report in the Chinese newspaper Qianjiang Evening News. Back in 2011, an 11-month old Tibetan Mastiff sold for $1.5 million.
