Baton Rouge Store Owner Says His Video Shows Cops ‘Murdered' Alton Sterling

Abdullah Muflahi shot cellphone video that appears to show Sterling tackled, pinned to the ground and shot multiple times

The owner of the Louisiana convenience store where Alton Sterling was killed Tuesday says he believes the man was "murdered" by white cops who shot him, NBC News reports.

Sterling, 37, was shot multiple times early Tuesday outside Abdullah Muflahi’s Triple S Food Mart in Baton Rouge. Muflahi shot cellphone video that appears to show Sterling tackled, pinned to the ground and shot multiple times.

Muflahi told NBC News on Wednesday, as far as he could tell, Sterling didn’t threaten the officers or never brandished a gun. Authorities claim Sterling was armed.

"He just wanted to know what was going on. Why are they coming to arrest him?" Muflahi said. "He was asking them: 'What'd I do wrong? What's going on? What'd I do wrong? Why you messing with me?'"
