Teen Finds Lost Wallet on New York City Bus, Tracks Down Owner on Facebook

A New York City teenager is being credited with using Facebook to track down the owner of a wallet she found on a city bus.

Eighteen-year-old Michael Sally was on his way to Xaverian High School in Brooklyn June 4 when his wallet apparently fell out of his pocket.

Not long after he realized it was missing, he received a Facebook message from a girl named Stephanie Cheung.

The 18-year-old Cheung wrote that she found his wallet wedged into a side seat. She opened it to check for identification.

Sally tells the Staten Island Advance that Cheung "really went out of her way" and wanted nothing in return.

Cheung says it was "the right thing to do."
