Bill Cosby Accusers Speak Out in ‘Dateline NBC' Special

Twenty-nine women who accuse comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault spoke out in an NBC "Dateline" special Friday.

The alleged crimes described in an hour-long broadcast spanned decades, beginning in the 1960s. Many accusers said they were introduced to the comedian professionally and believed that he would mentor them in their careers. After establishing trust, many allege that he betrayed them, giving them pills that knocked them out so that he could rape them.

"This drug lasted two to three days so by the time you came out of this state you still are questioning purely yourself," said Beth Ferrier, a woman who says that she was drugged by Cosby in the 1980s.

The interview was timed to coincide with Cosby's scheduled deposition Friday in the case of a woman who accused Cosby of molesting her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, when she was 15.

Cosby's representatives have denied the allegations against him.
