As the world's biggest New Year's Eve party approaches, workers are prepping the crystal ball that will ring in 2015.
NBC 4 New York got a sneak preview of the famous 12-foot Waterford Crystal ball on Saturday.
Waterford teamed up this year with the International Rescue Committee and designated the theme of the Times Square celebration the "Gift of Fortitude."
A portion of the ball's crystal panels will represent the IRC for its humanitarian assistance to refugees across the globe.
