Early voting began Monday for the Nov. 5 Miami-Dade County Special Election.
Miami-Dade County voters will decide whether they want to approve an $830 million upgrade to the modernization of the Jackson Health System, paid entirely with taxpayer money.
Various municipalities will also be holding elections to decide on leaders and proposals. For a list of all sample ballots and races, click here.
Mayoral races will be held in Homestead, Hialeah, Miami Gardens and Miami Beach.
The early voting period will end Nov. 3 in the 20 early voting sites throughout Miami-Dade.
The voting centers will be opened on various hours and the Elections Department’s website will post constant updates of operating times and wait times for every site.
The North Miami Beach Public Library will be used as the replacement site of Aventura City Hall, which is currently under construction.
During the early voting period, voters can go to any of the 20 sites throughout the county, unlike Election Day, where voters must go to their assigned location.
