A federal investigation that so far has resulted in the arrests of three politicians in Broward County will most likely result in the arrests of more politicians.

Investigators are looking into shady connections between county commissioners, school district officials and construction contractors, according to The Miami Herald.

They are specifically focused on the possibility that count commissioners influenced how transit contracts were issued.

Last week, investigators arrested County Commissioner Josephus Eggelletion Jr., School Board member Beverly Gallagher and former Miramar Commissioner Fitzroy Salesman in unrelated fraud cases during an FBI sting.

Investigators appear to be focused on Gallagher's relationship with lobbyist Neil Sterling, a former School Board member.
