It's a foreign affairs-filled Sunday shows slate this weekend, with National Security Adviser Jim Jones, a retired Marine general, and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice as the headline guests.

Jones pulls double duty, stopping by CBS's "Face the Nation" and CNN's "State of the Union" to talk about the administration's strategy for Afghanistan and the new negotiations with Iran over its determination to develop of nuclear weapons.

Also appearing on CBS are Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), former CENTCOM Commander Anthony Zinni and Rep. Ike Skelton (D-Mo.).

CNN also hosts Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) to discuss health care and the nation's steadily rising unemployment numbers. Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm is also on CNN to talk about the economy, on the heels of news that General Motors is shutting down its Saturn brand.

Rice is on NBC's "Meet the Press" to discuss President Barack Obama's foreign policy challenges and to assess his Sept. 23 address to the United Nations. She'll be followed by a roundtable discussion that includes New York Times Op-Ed columnist David Brooks, who'll surely be asked about the conservative backlash to his recent essay dismissing the influence of conservative talkers such as Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

ABC's "This Week" hosts former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, who'll offer his take on September's worse-than-expected employment numbers and his forecast for the economic climate ahead. Other guests include Senate Finance Committee members Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) to review the just-finished markup of the health care bill.

"Fox News Sunday" hosts Sens. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) and Bob Casey (D-Pa.).

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe talks about the war on drugs and U.S.-South American relations on CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS."

And on C-SPAN's "Newsmakers," Boxer, chairwoman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, fields questions from The Washington Post's Juliet Eilperin and The Associated Press's Dina Cappiello.

Finally, Bloomberg's "Political Capital" hosts Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.). The former governor will discuss Virginia's upcoming gubernatorial election, health care reform and financial regulation.
