I was lucky enough to cover the 2008 Summer Olympics for NBC and out of the five weeks I spent in China, I think this is the best photo I took. A bolt of lightning over the Bird's Nest as seen from my hotel room window at about 2 a.m. in the early stages of an amazing two-hour storm.
