‘Allow Them to Witness History': Draymond Green Tweets He Will Donate Tickets to Wednesday's Game to Underprivileged Kid From Oakland

Tickets for the game, in which the Warriors can become the winningest NBA team ever, range from $300 to $17,000

The Golden State Warriors, who will host the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday, are playing for a spot in NBA history, and Draymond Green wants to make sure that at least one underprivileged child is there to witness it.

If the Warriors win on Wednesday, it would launch the team over the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls for the best regular season in professional basketball history.

So it’s no surprise that a ticket to Wednesday’s game is the hottest item in town right now.

Nosebleed seats for Wednesday's game on Ticketmaster are going for more than $300. Courtside tickets are going for $17,000.

On Wednesday, Green announced on Twitter that he would be donating tickets to an underprivileged child from Oakland.

“Going to buy 3 tickets and find an underprivileged kid in Oakland and allow them to witness history Wednesday!!! Let's get it fellas!!!” the forward tweeted.

He followed it up with this tweet: “Will figure release criteria in the early am.”
