Chris Bosh To Play Heimdall in Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

Chris Bosh will put his acting talents to work on February 23rd when he supplies the voice for Heimdall in Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

Chris Bosh is going to take on a whole new role when he voices the role of Heimdall in Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. according to TV Guide.

On the opportunity Bosh had this to say, "Marvel was great to work with and I was honored to voice Heimdall. I enjoyed the Hulk as a kid and am excited for kids' reaction to the episode."

Heimdall is a fictional character from the Marvel universe.  In the recent "Thor" films for Marvel, the character has been portrayed by Idris Elba.  Heimdall's role is to be the all-seeing and all-knowing guardian of Asgard which is a fictional Marvel realm.

"We were thrilled that Chris agreed to lend his voice to one of the biggest and bravest warriors of Asgard. We hope fans will enjoy this fun episode as Chris brings the heat to Team Green." added Stephen Wacker who serves as VP of Marvel animation.

This is the second television related venture for a Heat star in the past week.   On February 5th, it was announced that LeBron James had a sitcom green-lit by Starz which he will be an executive producer on.

For those unaware, Bosh has actually made appearances on television before outside of Heat games.   Most recently, Bosh appeared on Parks and Recreation which airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.   In the scene, two of the main characters were at a game and Bosh was on the court dominating the competition as a ringer.  Bosh even got a line of dialogue in.  The scene can be seen on YouTube.

Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. is set to air at 8 a.m. on February 23rd.
