Yay! It's a sellout.
The Miami Dolphins' home opener under new owner Stephen Ross is a sellout.
The Dolphins announced on Friday that Monday night's game against Indianapolis has been sold out, meaning the local TV blackout will be lifted. Hooray!
Now you and the loved ones can watch Peyton Manning throw the ball up and down the field in Land Shark Stadium while being serenaded by the smooth stylings of T-Pain.
We actually think this will be a pretty competitive game, but considering the Dolphins lack of any positive momentum coming from last week's debacle in Atlanta, you might want to turn the TV off a little early anyway.
It's unclear who snapped up the last few thousand tickets to ensure the sell out, but wouldn't it have been quite the coincidence that Ross' first chance to show off his new "Dolphin Experience" didn't reach the local market.
Maybe that VIP board room has finally paid off. Miami hasn't had a home regular-season game blacked out since 1998.
Since completing his purchase of the franchise in January, Ross has announced partnerships with six celebrities, most recently new limited partners Venus and Serena Williams.
