Ex-NFL Player Accused of Sacking Wife

Lional Dalton spent eight years inthe NFL tackling and bullying opposing offenses.

Now, the 350-pound South Florida resident is being accused of tackling his 5-foot wife.

Dalton, 35, was arrested last night in Palm Beach County on domestic violence charges stemming from an alleged altercation with his estranged wife, Kimberly, at the home they share in Boca Raton, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Dalton was a defensive tackle in the NFL and played for the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins and Kansas City before retiring with the Houston Texans. He recorded 110 tackles and 9 sacks during his NFL career, but his most recent sack could land him in prison.

According to court records, Dalton was forced to live  in the couple's pool house while his wife lived in the main house because of past domestic violence allegations.

But Dalton isn't alone in his offensive actions. Kimberly Dalton has also been arrested before for attacking her behemoth hubby. Police have had to respond to several calls of domestic violence at the couple's home, some of which came form Dalton.

Dalton's attorney claims the most recent allegation is is made up story by the woman to get his client in trouble.

"He is huge. If he wanted to hurt her, he could," attorney Phil Schwartz told the Post. "He’s just a gentle giant."
