Great Nicknames of Miami Sports

As the Phin's fresh meat leave mini-camp with lovingly applied new monikers that will haunt them for life, it's time for a look back at some of the most memorable nicknames in Miami sports history. At the top of the pack: the "Killer Bees" defense of the '82 Dolphins, so named because standouts Bob Baumhower, Bill Barnett, Lyle Blackwood, Kim Bokamper, Glenn Blackwood, Doug Betters, and Bob Brudzinski all shared an initial -- but fitting because of the way they swarmed around the ball and left opposing teams in pain.
