DAYTON, OH - MARCH 20: Kenny Hasbrouck #41 of the Siena Saints looks on between plays against the Ohio State Buckeyes during the first round of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament at the University of Dayton Arena on March 20, 2009 in Dayton, Ohio. Even though we're pretty sure our darling D-Wadekins is sticking with the Heat this summer, it helps that his hometown option is tanking like Lori Petty. The Bulls have lost seven straight, including a 108-95 drilling at Wade's own hands over the weekend.

And, according to Chicago's rookie guar Taj Gibson, his elbows and body and fists or whatever it is Wade is supposed to have nailed Gibson with after a whistle the other night.

"It was a dirty play," Gibson told ESPN. "Dwyane and a couple other guys undercut me. I was just pissed because the referee saw it and he just asked me, Are you OK? I was like, Am I OK? I was just [angry]. I just learned how to control my anger because I'm a rookie....I felt like exploding at them because that was a dangerous play. The play was over for at least a minute, minute and a half. He just ran up on me."

Um, that's Mr. Wade to you, and welcome to the NBA.

Also: The City of Miami thanks you for keeping making Chicago look slightly less like a good option in free agency.

One rookie who doesn't have to worry about being undercut by Dwyane Wade is Kenny Hasbrouck. The former Siena standout will dress out with the Heat for tonight's game against San Antonio, as Miami has signed him to a tiny contract in the wake of Rafer Alston's controversial departure via text message and the subsequent radio silence that earned him a suspension.

Hasbrouck, who was with the Heat last summer and would have earned an invitation to training camp but for a broken rib, will sit behind Carlos Arroyo and Mario Chalmers. Should he see the court at all, he'll be the first Siena player in history to do so.
