It was not as memorable as the last All-Star Game in Houston, when LeBron James (then with the Cleveland Cavaliers) won MVP honors en route to an Eastern Conference victory, but James and Heat teammate Dwyane Wade made a number of highlight-worthy plays in defeat at the 2013 NBA All-Star Game.

Wade had 21 points, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, while James scored 19 points with 5 assists. Wade got James going early with an alley-oop pass off the backboard on a fast break (watch below):

That looks even better in slow motion:

James' most impressive play came on a shot that didn't count, as he nonchalantly flipped the ball over his head and into the hoop after a foul call stopped play:

While James and Wade contributed some jaw-dropping highlights, Heat teammate Chris Bosh made the highlight reel for all the wrong reasons. Contributing just 6 points and 2 rebounds, Bosh was abused on defense by the West's Chris Paul (the game's MVP winner) and Tony Parker.

As the video below shows, commentator Reggie Miller is shocked - SHOCKED! - that the defense in an All-Star Game is subpar. In reality, Bosh should never be forced to guard and opposing point guard all by himself, but such is the All-Star game.

The Heat will return to action on Wednesday at the Atlanta Hawks, kicking off a stretch with three road games in four nights. They will face the Bulls in Chicago on Thursday and the 76ers in Philadelphia on Saturday.
