Homestead Miami Speedway

It's been a bumpy road for Helio Castroneves in Miami recently, but Tuesday he got a chance to blaze around the track in style.

The dancing driver who narrowly tip-toed around a six-year prison sentence earlier this summer took the Maxim challenge and raced around Homestead Miami Speedway in the most exotic cars on the planet for the magazine's November "Dream Cars" issue.

Maxim wanted to get Castroneves' expert opinion on the Aston Martin DBS, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE, Hennessey/Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet -- cars you probably will only be able to get close to in your dreams.

Of course, driving around in a circle really fast is nothing new to the IndyCar superstar.

Castroneves has already won the Indianapolis 500 this year and has his sights on winning the IndyCar race in Homestead in October. But even the emotional Season 5 Dancing with the Stars Champion had to admit it was a different feeling speeding around the track in these sexy rides.

"It's not every day you get to drive some of the most beautiful cars in the world," Castroneves said.

For Castroneves, it was also a chance to test drive potential new editions to his car collection. He had to sell a couple of his premium rides to pay his legal fees while fighting federal tax evasion charges in April.
