It's a Rap: Lil Wayne Officially a Heat Hater

Lil Wayne has a beef with the Miami Heat

As if the Miami Heat didn't have to deal with enough hate on the court, now they've got high profile haters sitting courtside.

Lil Wayne, the leader of Young Money and arguably the best rapper alive, is probably in the lab right now thinking up a dis record for the Heat after he told Rolling Stone magazine that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade purposely dissed him at a recent game at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Weezy, or Dwayne Carter, said he felt slighted by the more famous two of Miami's Big Three because the dynamic duo didn't greet him or acknowledge his presence courtside at the Dec. 13 New Orleans Hornets game.

"They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing," Wayne said after going on a colorful tirade that is only appropriate in his rap lyrics. "Come holla at me. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”

In case the Bird Man Jr. forgot, D-Wade and LBJ have a job to do and probably should have been forgiven for focusing on the task of corralling Hornets All Star guard Chris Paul that night.

Maybe serving hard time and those skinny jeans are making Weezy F. Baby a little sensitive these days.

True, Miami Heat games are becoming star-studded affairs and part of the allure of the team will be the players' interaction with the celebrity fans a la Los Angeles. Kobe is always fraternizing with the A-listers, so certainly LeBron and D-Wade could give a celebrity a fist bump or maybe throw a little powder their way.

There's nothing wrong with showing celebrities some love, but taking offense seems a bit soft.

Guess we can cross Lil Wayne off of the list of performers at the Heat's NBA Championship parade down Biscayne.
