Miami Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno will be out for the season after he was placed on injured reserve with an ACL injury, the team said Tuesday.

Moreno played in three games this season, rushing 31 times for 148 yards and one touchdown. He also added one reception for eight yards.

Moreno carried the ball six times for ten yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
