New Miami Heat player Shabazz Napier will be introduced at a press conference Monday afternoon.

The press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Heat acquired Napier at last week's NBA Draft, trading the No. 26 and No. 55 picks plus a future second-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets, who selected Napier with the 24th pick.

Napier comes with a championship pedigree. He won two national championships at the University of Connecticut and was named the most outstanding player in the 2014 Final Four after leading the Huskies to a national championship.

Napier was LeBron James' favorite player in the draft. James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem have all opted out of their contracts with the Heat, but the team is reportedly trying to work out deals with the players, as Norris Cole is the only player currently under contract with the team.
