They say "birds of a feather flock together."

The biggest fan of Chris "Birdman" Andersen also happens to be the smallest.
Lazaro "Baby Birdman" Pereira is only 8 months old, but he looks just like his NBA counterpart; clad in tattooed sleeves, gel Mohawk, and star sticker earrings.

Until this week, the two had never met each other.

So the wish-granting storks in the NBC6 Sports department set up a special meet and greet between the Birdman, and Bird baby.

The circumstances surrounding this precious little boy are nothing short of
    miraculous.

The Pereiras – Jessica and Ernesto – have been married for 14 years, and had to conceive a child for eight of them. Their prayers were answered after the couple won an in vitro fertilization procedure off a raffle from the Fertility and Genetics facility in South Florida.

Jessica and Ernesto call baby Lazaro their "little blessing” and he's already made a big splash in his first 8 months.
