Boomer Phelps, the 3-month-old son of all-world U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps, was a mainstay at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium in Rio cheering on his dad -- as much as a 3-month old can cheer.
Boomer could be seen in the stands during his dad's races, usually in the lap of his mom, Nicole Johnson. He's easily recognizable with his trademark stars-and-stripes noise-canceling headphones and an equally patriotic baby carrier.
Boomer may not have been awake for some of his dad's medal-winning races, but the pair certainly will have some interesting things to talk about for years to come as they reminisce about their time together at the 2016 Olympics.
