Orlando's Superman Mocks LeBron, Ups Ante in Budding Rivalry

That TwitVid will cost you, Dwight

Dwight Howard is a funny guy who loves to do impersonations.

But his latest antics targeting LeBron James and his decision to join the Miami Heat can be interpreted more as a slap in the face than a pat on the back.

Jumping on the Hate on the Heat bandwagon with both feet, Howard posted a 40-second video on Twitter yesterday mocking James' mannerisms made famous in Cleveland, and culminated the TwitVid with an "I'm taking my talents to South Banana" comment.

While we are still cracking up as we watch it, we are doing so with extreme venom as the Orlando-Miami rivalry heats up.

So far the trash talk has been pretty one-sided.

Orlando Magic general manager Otis Smith took the first swipe at LeBron and the Heat when he came out after "The Decision" to say he thought James was "more of a competitor" than to join with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Then he proclaimed the Magic were still the beast of the Southeast Division.

The Magic followed up by signing Quentin Richardson, who played for the Heat last season.

But at least Smith didn't take it to Twitter with a spot-on impersonation. That type of mockery cannot be tolerated, especially from someone whose offensive game is as offensive as Cleveland Cavs owner Dan Gilbert.

So far the Heat's only rebuttal is laughing at former Magic great Penny Hardaway's suggestion that he would be a good fit for the team. Pat Riley still hasn't returned his call.

We are predicting a double-digit beatdown for Howard and Orlando in the first meeting with the Heat in South Banana.

Can the season start already?!?!
