Joey Porter to Play Pretty in Pink

Pink enough for a man, supportive enough for a woman.

If the trainers clear his strained right hamstring, Joey Porter plans to play for a different body part on Sunday against the Bills.

That's right, our very own Peezy will be sporting those pink cleats up there -- with his name sewn in, natch -- to show full-figured support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"I'm more than comfortable in my manhood to wear pink shoes," Peezy told the Sun-Sentinel. "I know we're going to auction them off and send the money from the proceeds [to charity], so whatever I can do to help in that situation."

The publicity from players across the NFL sporting pink wristbands, helmet decals, captain's patches, and other equipment this weekend aims to remind women -- especially those over 40 -- to get regular screenings for the disease.

The Dolphins, whose tight ends coach George DeLeon lost his wife to the disease earlier this year, will also sport pink goal post padding.

Channing Crowder will join Porter, taking it a step further with new kicks in the name of boobs.

Other Dolphins are -- well, we're not quite sure what to think of coach Tony Sparano's individual plan. According to reporter Omar Kelly's twitter:

Tony Sparano says he'll have pink on for Sunday's game against the Bills, but he won't tell us where.

Sweet sassy molassy. If we ever -- even just for one second -- have another mental picture of Tony Sparano in pink unmentionables again, we'll be cheering for the Bills.

Along with a cure.
