Watch: Giancarlo Stanton Sings Beyonce

Marlins' outfielder does the Single Ladies dance for MLB Network

Giancarlo Stanton is a very good baseball player. The Marlins' outfielder is not quite as good with his vocals as he is with a baseball bat, something he demonstrated to full effect on Wednesday.

Stanton was interviewed on the MLB Network's Intentional Talk, when he was asked to name his favorite female singers. Stanton responded with some unsurprising choices, including Rhianna, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce.

Then co-host (and former Marlins first baseman) Kevin Millar asked Stanton to sing a few bars of a Beyonce song. Stanton obliged, giving a very brief snippet of Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) with his version of Beyonce's popular dance moves.

Watch Stanton's performance below (the singing starts just after the 1:16 mark):

Stanton probably doesn't have to worry about a possible singing career distracting him from baseball. Seemingly to prove the point, he obliterated a baseball in his first at bat Wednesday night for a solo home run.
