Week Three Preview: Bills at Dolphins

The Dolphins will take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in their first home game of the year

The Miami Dolphins will look to get back into the win column when they host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium.

The Dolphins are coming off a shocking and disappointing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Bills also lost last week. Miami entered the game in Jacksonville as favorites and exited with a defeat following a late field goal.

The Dolphins have looked lackluster defensively this season through two games. After entering the season as one of the most hyped teams, Miami has struggled in both of its games. With games in Washington and Jacksonville, the Dolphins were expected to begin the year with a relatively easy 2-0 record.

Ndamukong Suh has not looked like the player that Miami expected when it handed him a large contract. Suh has not recorded a sack and has only three tackles combined in the first two games this year. If and when Suh finds his footing, the defense as a whole could begin to improve.

Miami will have its hands full in its first home game of the year when it tries to reign in Bills' running back LeSean McCoy. Thus far the Dolphins have allowed an average of 142 yards rushing in their first two games. McCoy is one of the best running backs in the NFL and will be a tough test for Miami's defense. Taking McCoy's production out of the equation the key to Miami winning this game.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is expected to take on his usual workload despite being limited in practice this week. Tannehill is battling assorted ankle and back injuries and was officially listed as probable on the team's injury report. Tannehill has done a solid job of keeping possession of the ball. Thus far Miami's QB has not thrown an interception and also led his team to a comeback win in the first week of the year.

Sunday's game will begin at 4:25 p.m.
