Miami Dolphins

Week Three Preview: Chiefs at Dolphins

The Dolphins will take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday as they look to move to 2-1 on the season

The Miami Dolphins will be looking for a bounce back win on Sunday when they battle the Kansas City Chiefs at Sun Life Stadium.

Last week Miami fell to Buffalo in a game that was dominated by the Bills. The Dolphins lost Knowshon Moreno early and never found their footing. At the end of the day, the Bills dropped the Dolphins to 1-1 on the year.

One thing that Miami knows going into this one and is that it will be without Moreno. He's going to be gone for several weeks with a dislocated elbow. The majority of the snaps on the ground are coming to come by way of Lamar Miller. For Miami to succeed, Miller is going to need to step up big and take some pressure off of quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Tannehill had a tough day last week in Buffalo. The QB was put on the ground four times for 31 yards. He was forced to throw 49 passes due to the unexpected loss of Moreno. Tannehill would throw one touchdown pass but he also threw a pick. The average passing yardage came in at 4.9 as the Dolphins struggled to get their offense going.

As for the Chiefs, they will be without their running back as well. Jamaal Charles is out with a high ankle sprain. Without Charles, Kansas City will turn to Knile Davis instead.

This will be the first game between Kansas City and Miami since 2011 when the Dolphins trounced the Chiefs 31-3.

After an exciting comeback win in Miami in the season opener, the Dolphins will hope for some more home cooking on Sunday. The game is set to begin at 4:25 p.m.
