Venus and Serena Williams join the Dolphins minority ownership giveaway

With fantasy draft rooms getting in full gear, we can't help but applaud Dolphins owner Stephen Ross for his latest pick in the "Fantasy Board Room Draft."
Sources say Venus and Serena Williams will join the list of celebrities who have purchased a piece of the Miami Dolphins. The Williams sisters, who spend tons of time in Miami, would bring some much needed contemporary flavor (T-Pain notwithstanding) to the collection of local celebs Ross has somehow convinced to join the Dolphins.
In recent months, Ross has been hell-bent on creating a VIP boardroom unmatched in sports while at the same time selling a bit of the team's nostalgia and breaking the hearts of Dolfans everywhere. He sold the name of the stadium. Then he sold out the fight song. We're convinced he would sell the logo if he could find a taker. Wait! We don't want to give Ross any ideas.
Perhaps the Williams sisters are being brought in to redesign the uniforms. We hear pearls go well with aquamarine. Maybe the team could play in catsuits. Actually, how about only Serena dons the catsuit.
The source spoke Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the team plans to announce the involvement of the tennis-playing sisters next week.
The Williamses live in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., about an hour's drive from the Dolphins' stadium.
Musicians Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Marc Anthony recently bought small shares of the team, joining singer Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville enterprise and partnerships with eccentric painter Britto.
