All-Star Exhibition Game in Puerto Rico Featuring Wade and Bosh Postponed

The exhibition game that Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were set to play in will be rescheduled next week, the Associated Press reports

An exhibition game in Puerto Rico featuring Heat stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh has been postponed, organizers said, according to The Associated Press.

An earlier press release said the World All-Star Classic would also include NBA stars Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Carlos Boozer, Chris Kaman, Paul Pierce, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler and Rajon Rondo, the AP reports.

The game will be rescheduled next week, according to the AP, and part of the proceeds will be given to charities on behalf of the players and the event.

While these games can't make up for the absence of the NBA, they are usually good for jaw-dropping highlights.

Wade, Bosh and LeBron James hosted and played in "The South Florida All-Star Classic" earlier this month at Florida International University.

The Heat duo secured commitments from stars including Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Rudy Gay, Durant, Stoudemire, Rondo and a slew of other NBA players.

"We'll play any day, any time," said James after the Oct. 8th game. "That's why we're here tonight, giving back to our fans and what they deserve and letting them know that no matter what's going on with our situation, we're going to play the game and play at a high level."
