A 74-year-old man was arrested in Rock Harbor after he threatened a Comcast cable contractor with a knife in Rock Harbor yesterday.

The cable guy was going about his business when Roger Olds, 74, told him to move his truck parked in front of a lot on the 94000 block of Overseas Highway. The cable installer had parked his truck there to protect his ladder as he worked, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Olds continued to ask the victim to move his truck before calling the Homeowner's Association Manager, who asked the worker to leave.

As he was complying, the Comcast worker noticed the feisty geezer kneeling by one of his truck tires, letting the air out -- not a good way to get him to leave.

When the victim confronted old Olds, he pulled out a knife and threatened him. The victim got into his truck locked the doors and called 911.

A Monroe Sheriff's officer arrived a short time later and found the knife in the suspect's pocket.

The white-haired Olds was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into jail.
