Authorities are searching for a sneaky beef thief who stole a truck loaded with over $150,000 worth of meat in Pompano Beach.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says a driver from NKD Logistics was making deliveries for a food distributor the morning of May 29 when his tractor trailer was stolen.

According to the BSO, the driver had parked the truck at the entranceway to a business at 1141 Southwest 12th Avenue and walked inside to check in when the thief made off with the truck.

Surveillance video shows a white truck pull up behind the semi after the driver parks and a man exit the truck, enter the semi and drive it away.

By the time the semi driver returned, the truck and all the meat had vanished.

Authorities are looking for the thief and are asking anyone with information to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
