Beer cans are so versatile that fans can fashion headgear from them after emptying them.
The life of a trucker can be lonely and hard, so many have come up with ways to stay awake on those long trips delivering goods.
Some try conventional coffee, others adopt pet ducks, but one Florida man said the only thing that will do is a cold brew.
Unfortunately for him, there is a law called driving under the influence.
Curtis Hamilton, 51, was arrested on Interstate 75 near Gainesville earlier this week after police spotted his tractor trailer swerving in the lane, reports the Gainesville Sun. Two motorists had reported to Florida Highway Patrol that a semi had nearly forced them off the road a few moments before Hamilton came by.
When officers finally caught up with Hamilton, he told them he had drank a couple of beers because he was falling asleep and needed to stay awake. His blood-alcohol level was .127, well over the .08 legal limit.
Hamilton was charged with two counts of DUI, and we're throwing a count of stupidity on top. Next time, just get some Starbucks.
