A Pompano Beach woman was arrested for disorderly intoxication after parents complained she was chasing their children at the beach, authorities said.
Jennifer Hinkle, 36, was arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of N. Pompano Beach Boulevard, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office arrest report.
According to the report, deputies responded after parents complained Hinkle was "chasing after small children and try[ing] to touch and kiss them."
The parents didn't want to press charges for battery but wanted her removed due to her intoxication and since she was disturbing beach-goers, the report said.
Hinkle was being held on $250 bond Wednesday, and it was unknown whether she has an attorney.
