Loaded Bouquet: Agents Find 8 Pounds of Coke in Flower Shipment

Shipment of flowers coming to MIA contained $256,000 worth of cocaine

Usually flower deliveries come with a nice card or balloons, but a shipment of flowers found at Miami International Airport had a surprising tag-along with it.

Cocaine.

Customs agents doing a routine inspection of overseas shipments into the airport this week searched a cargo plane coming from South America and found eight pounds of Colombia's finest - and we're not talking coffee beans.

The cocaine was packaged in red bricks and is estimated to be worth around $256,000.

Hopefully, no one planned on sniffing this bouquet of flowers. Then again, maybe that was the plan.
