A man accused of cutting his wife's throat with a bread knife in 2013 has been aquitted.

Howard Skibinsky had been accused of stabbing his wife of 17 years after they argued about finances. She told police that she was certain her husband wanted to kill her, according to the police report issued at the time.

On Feb. 25, 2015, a jury acquitted Skibinsky and he was released from jail.
