Prankster's Viagra Story Hard to Believe

Man called 911 and said he was overdosing on erectile dysfunction remedy

You could say this one is a hard pill to swallow.

A Broward man has been arrested after he allegedly made up a story that he was overdosing on Viagra.

Matthew Wade Douglas Jr., 28, has been charged with filing a false report after he called 911 and claimed he had taken a few too many of the erectile dysfunction drug.

Douglas allegedly told the 911 operator that his wife was performing oral sex on him to help him solve his pill problem and went into pretty graphic details of the effects Viagra was having on his body.

Now usually a person is instructed to call the emergency number on the box for any undesired side effects of Viagra, but the Broward Sheriff's Office decided to pop up to Douglas' home anyways to check out his little problem.

When deputies and paramedics arrived at the address given, the homeowner said they had not called 911 at all and didn't own any Viagra.

Detectives determined it was a prank but they weren't going to go soft on the person who made the prank call.

They returned with an audio tape of the 911 call and the homeowner recognized the voice as Douglas, who was dating the homeowner's daughter.

BSO eventually caught up with Douglas, who was already doing hard time in a Broward jail for disorderly conduct.
